  1. nyam nyam nyam new topic!!!!!

There will be so many differences if we compare
    Laskar Pelangi and Slumdog Millionaire.

In my opinion Slumdog Millionaire is one of the best movies of the year and Danny Boyle has been a favorite of mine since i saw his masterpieces like Trainspotting and 28 days later, and also the guilty pleasure (the beach). In Slumdog, the raw style mixes with the amazing locations make this film one of the most cinematic experiences you ever seen.
It's funny, sad, thrilling, basically a very enjoyable film that deserves numerous Oscar nominations. For your information, The lead actress in this movie is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen, if she isn't a huge star after this I'd be extremely surprised.
The look of the film is amazing and many screen shots of India were breathtaking.

JUST Like 'Juno,' Slumdog Millionaire is KIND OF a comedic drama, but it becomes much more and when it begins to ask about fate, will, righteousness and dis trustfulness and finally the movie becomes more serious.and the most important thing is,Prepare yourself for being overtaken by emotions as well as joy, pity, happiness, anger, and surprise.

From the quality Slumdog had got many awards from some movie festivals and in 81st Academy Awards Slumdog got 8 awards from 10 nominations.

Laskar Pelangi perhaps is one of adapted movies from best selling novels in Indonesia just like ayat-ayat cinta or another upcoming movies in 2009, ketika cinta bertasbih. Unfortunately, the director of Laskar Pelangi didn't enlist his movie into Festival Film Indonesia 2008 so we couldn't get any information about its achievements.
Overall, i give two thumbs up for Riri Riza for directing this movie so well, and this is one of some Indonesian movie that makes me cry, laughs, and inspired at the same time.

What more can i say coz' both of them are amazing, containing so many social issues, and also criticizing the government implicitly.
